Energy and Mining Cooperative (KEP)

The Energy and Mining Cooperative (KEP) was originally named Koperasi Perhimpunan Purna Karyawan Departemen Pertambangan dan Energi (KPPDPE) “Purna Bhakti.”

It was established on April 10, 1997, by 21 retirees of the Department of Mining and Energy.

The cooperative was formed as a joint initiative to create economic opportunities and long-term welfare for its members.

  • To build a spirit of independence through collective self-help by joining together to establish a shared enterprise that increases income and indirectly improves members’ welfare.
  • To create greater certainty for a better life by investing collectively through the cooperative.
  • Short-term objective: To build strong capital foundations so that members can develop productive business units.
  • Long-term objective: Through the establishment of these business units, to generate higher income and improve the overall welfare of members.
