Oil Processing

The Oil Processing Testing Division works to increase production and maintain the quality of crude oil and its derivative products, monitor environmental aspects in the oil & gas sector, and help provide solutions to the government and the oil & gas industry related to petroleum processing technology.

This division actively supports government policy, assists industry progress in boosting national hydrocarbon resources, and offers solutions to the oil & gas sector through:

The division operates a leading laboratory in oil & gas testing, covering a wide range of services including the separation of crude oil into products, physical and chemical testing of crude oil and its products (from fuels to residues), petrochemicals, formation/production/discharge water, biotechnology, and environmental testing. It also has dry labs equipped with software to support analysis and problem solving in the oil & gas sector.

The laboratory is accredited by the National Accreditation Committee (KAN) under SNI ISO/IEC 17025:2017 requirements for testing and calibration laboratories.
