LSPRO

LSPro (Product Certification Body) at LEMIGAS is an accredited product certification body operating under the Balai Besar Pengujian Minyak dan Gas Bumi (LEMIGAS), which is part of the Directorate General of Oil and Gas, Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources of Indonesia. The certification body is established based on the Head of Balai Besar Pengujian Minyak dan Gas Bumi Decree No. 35.HK.02/DPM/2023. It is accredited by the National Accreditation Committee (KAN) under accreditation number LSPr-077-IDN. Its purpose is to serve stakeholders in guaranteeing and controlling the quality of products, especially in the oil and gas sector and related processed products, according to Indonesian National Standards (SNI).

LSPro LEMIGAS carries out product certification activities and issues the Letter of Approval for Use of the SNI Mark (SPPT SNI) for products such as lubricants and fuels, based on:

• Minister of Industry Regulation No. 25 of 2018 for mandatory SNI for lubricants

• Head of Standardization Agency Regulation No. 2 of 2017 for use of SNI marks and conformity based on SNI requirements

LSPro activities are funded by LEMIGAS as a Public Service Agency (Badan Layanan Umum) and supported by professional, competent personnel including laboratory analysts, sampling officers, and ISO 9001 auditors. The test laboratories used in certification are accredited according to SNI ISO/IEC 17025:2017, and LEMIGAS also holds quality management and safety certifications (ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001).
