The Exploration Technology Testing Laboratory has extensive experience testing oil and gas exploration data from various companies and all sedimentary basins in Indonesia since the 1970s.

The programs and activities are aimed at increasing the discovery of new oil and gas reserves, both conventional and non-conventional, and at helping provide solutions to the government and the oil & gas industry related to oil & gas exploration.

The Exploration Testing Group actively provides input that supports government policy, advances the industry in improving national oil & gas resources, and offers solutions to the oil & gas industry through:

The laboratory in the Oil & Gas Exploration Testing Division is accredited by the National Accreditation Committee (KAN) LP-1519-IDN according to the requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories under SNI ISO/IEC 17025:2017.
